Spring Lake Township is located in Tazewell County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,887 and it contained 887 housing units.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 65.54 square miles (169.7 km²), of which 62.68 square miles (162.3 km²) (or 95.64%) is land and 2.86 square miles (7.4 km²) (or 4.36%) is water.
